Action Tutoring

Action Tutoring is an award-winning education charity with over 13 years of proven impact supporting pupils eligible for Pupil Premium. Our mission is simple: to ensure every child can thrive, whatever their background. This year, we're further strengthening our evidence base by partnering with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) on a major efficacy study, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based tutoring.

We're tackling the attainment gap head-on. Partnering with schools, we match trained volunteer tutors with pupils to strengthen subject knowledge, confidence and study skills. Our programmes deliver measurable results: pupils who attend regularly make clear academic progress as well as gaining confidence and self-belief.

As a charity, we heavily subsidise our programmes so we can reach and support the pupils who need it most, regardless of school budget limitations. We manage all aspects of the programme delivery to reduce burden on school staff.

We're currently partnering with state-maintained schools across England with a higher-than-average proportion of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding. Join one of our workshops to explore how we can help you improve outcomes for pupils facing disadvantage.

Artis Foundation

Imagine children singing about punctuation, dancing like planets, or acting out times tables, all with huge smiles while absorbing the curriculum. That’s the power of Artis. We’re a creative learning charity offering weekly immersive programmes linked to classroom themes, supporting priorities like oracy, SEND, wellbeing, attendance, and teacher CPD. In person, our Creative Learning specialists join your school to enhance lessons and become part of your teaching team. For schools further afield, Artis Online delivers curriculum-linked episodes via performing arts specialists. Axiom Maths

Axiom Maths is a maths education charity on a mission to help every child with the heart and head for maths realise the potential of their power. Every year 30,000 children who were top performers at the end of primary school don’t go on to get top GCSE grades in maths. We aim to change that by partnering with schools across England and Wales to run fully-funded in-school or online maths circles. Pupils tackle challenging and rewarding maths problems in a supportive social group where the subject is valued.
