Liz Zoccolan is SENCO and Assistant Headteacher at Harrogate Grammar School, part of the Red Kite Learning Trust. In 2023, Liz stepped into the role of trust lead for SEND to support the development of inclusive provision across all schools. Liz is also chair of the Red Kite Alliance’s secondary SENCO Curriculum Learning Community, a partnership of more than 60 schools and institutions throughout Yorkshire across all phases and contexts that have come together to help improve the learning and achievement of the young people in their communities. She has worked in primary, secondary and all-through schools both as a teacher and SENCO. She holds the National Award for SEN and is a qualified dyslexia specialist.
