Nathan has been a middle and senior leader in secondary schools with contrasting challenges, opportunities, and contexts in four Local Authorities. Nathan established and has been the Director of the Staffordshire Research School since it’s designation by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) in 2019 and is also the Director of the John Taylor Teaching School Hub and John Taylor SCITT. Combining roles provides a sound platform to support schools, leaders and teachers to align approaches with the EEF’s mission in ‘breaking the link between family income and educational achievement’ by making use of the ‘best bets’ of evidence.
