Helen Carter is Senior Deputy Headteacher and a teacher of English at Burnage Academy for Boys in Greater Manchester, an inner city comprehensive school. Helen has been a teacher of English for 21 years and has been a senior leader since 2009. She has overseen the school's journey from RI in 2016 to Outstanding in 2018 and 2024.
